Lessons From COVID-19

Available in English, French and Spanish

Anyone who remembers the year 2020 will never forget the time when the world came to a standstill. Churches, businesses, travel, schools, everything shut down as the coronavirus advanced from nation to nation. It was a strange experience which threw all of humanity into a state of wonder and fear. Thousands of lives were lost due to the infection. Our behaviour in public changed as social distancing became the norm. The pandemic had an incredible effect upon the minds, bodies, and souls of everyone in this world. During such a period of drastic change and upheaval, it is the Church who must come to the foreground of society to be able to answer the many questions which mankind faces in an unstable time. We must be able to give a reason for the hope that is in us. We also must be able to take situations such as the pandemic and bring them under the microscope of the Scriptures. God is not on some faraway cloud, uninterested and uninvolved in the day to day affairs of mankind. Rather, His will and ways are guiding the very course of history.

The following messages were produced for Bethel Baptist Church during the several months that we were closed due to the virus. They were originally recorded in English, then translated into Spanish and French. We pray that these lessons will bless your soul and that you will find in every circumstance of life that God is always with His people. Keep looking to Him whatever your situation. The promises of His Word are true and will always grant assurance and comfort to all those who trust in Him.
